Change of Command in Space
NASA astronaut Army Col. Doug Wheelock, Expedition 24 flight engineer, uses a ham radio system in the Zvezda Service Module of the International Space Station. Wheelock will become the new commander of the International Space Station during an in-space ceremony today. Wheelock will be the first active-duty Army astronaut to command the ISS.
